Summer Citrus Shawl
JACOB SEIFERT’S lightweight shawl uses two shades of Noro’s Sonata yarn - a blend of cotton, viscose, silk and polyamide in matt, semi-solid tones. The shawl has contrasting bands of garter stitch and left- and right-leaning eyelets, and incorporates short rows to shape and create stripes.
PATTERN NOTE
At the beginning of RS rows, work the K1, kfbf somewhat loosely to accommodate the slant of the increased stitches.

SHORT ROW WRAP & TURN W&T

1. Wyib ( wyif), slip next stitch purlwise. 2. Move yarn between the needles to the front ( back).
3. Slip the same stitch back to LH needle. Turn work. One stitch is wrapped.
4. When working the wrapped stitch, insert RH needle under the wrap and work it together with the corresponding stitch on the needle.
