Man dies in car rollover

THREE men have been forced to leave their un­con­scious friend trapped in a ve­hi­cle to find help on an iso­lated Clarence Val­ley road af­ter their ve­hi­cle rolled. On Fri­day night, just af­ter 10.30pm, a Nis­san Pa­trol with four men on board was travelling west on Old Glen Innes Rd, New­ton Boyd, when it left the road and rolled sev­eral times. Three of the men were able to free them­selves, how­ever the fourth re­mained trapped in the ve­hi­cle un­con­scious.

The three men then re­turned to their camp­site and drove to a nearby res­i­dence where emer­gency ser­vices were con­tacted.

How­ever, when emer­gency ser­vices ar­rived at the site, the re­main­ing pas­sen­ger, a 20-year-old-man, was dis­cov­ered dead.
