The Observer - - YOUR SAY -

THEY say a change is as good as a holiday and we’ve had a few of those lately.

Changes, that is, but we’ve also got a holiday up for grabs incidentally. But more on that later.

Last month we moved to a Premium online subscription product and the response so far has been great with more people signing up.

Under Premium you’ve been seeing more articles with a rainbow coloured Plus sign next to them.

This means the story is available to subscribers only but any story without a Plus sign is able to be read for free.

Your digital subscription not only gives you full access to all Observer stories but those in the Courier Mail and a number of other bonuses.

You might have also noticed a few new names on story bylines in recent days.

We’ve welcomed three new journalists to our ranks this week; Noor Gillani, Mark Zita and Sarah Barnham.

Check out page 2 to learn more about Noor and we’ll introduce you further to Mark and Sarah next week.

We’d also like to learn a little bit more about you and what issues you think are important in the region so we’ve launched a reader survey today.

Head to pages 10-11 to see what it’s about.

Don’t like filling out forms? We’ve got five $100 Coles gift vouchers to give away that might sweeten the deal a little.

We’ve also got a raft of new competitions this month with some top-rate prizes up for grabs.

About that holiday I mentioned earlier; fancy a trip to Japan? Get your entries in now. Megan Sheehan Editor
