Con­tain­ers for Change in Som­er­set

SOM­ER­SET res­i­dents are be­ing re­minded to visit the Con­tain­ers for Change web­site to find out de­tails of mo­bile col­lec­tion sites in the re­gion.

Som­er­set Re­gional Coun­cil is sup­port­ing a trial of the pro­gram, which has been es­tab­lished to help in­crease re­cy­cling and re­duce waste.

The mo­bile col­lec­tion ser­vice will visit three lo­ca­tions in Som­er­set on a weekly ba­sis.

Mo­bile col­lec­tion will oc­cur at Esk and Fern­vale on Mon­days (ex­clud­ing pub­lic hol­i­days) and times for each site al­ter­nate weekly.

Col­lec­tion at Kil­coy oc­curs each Tues­day and times also al­ter­nate weekly.

The mo­bile col­lec­tion trucks will visit Pipeliner Park at Esk, the south­ern end of the carpark at the Fern­vale Vis­i­tor In­for­ma­tion Cen­tre and the north­ern end of the carpark at the Kil­coy Vis­i­tor In­for­ma­tion Cen­tre.

Res­i­dents must regis­ter on­line first to par­tic­i­pate in the Con­tain­ers for Change pro­gram by vis­it­ing the scheme web­site.
