Celebrating the wonders of light

The Queensland Times - - OPINION -

IN RESPONSE to G. Brougham in “It’s all just a reaction” (QT 14/01), what I found amazing was “light waves emitted from the sources are of the same frequency (and wavelength) and all are in phase” (Storen and Martine, Physics for Senior Students, Thomas Nelson, South Melbourne, 1987).

This is amazing because of recent applications of laser light. One year after my last cataract surgery, I had successful laser treatment on that eye.

I thank God I have reasonably good sight because of the wonders of his universe that could only empower man’s creativity if it were a universe of intelligent design. GLENDA CARROLL Bundamba
