Shepparton Golf Club hosted the GV Veteran Golfers 4BBB stableford event on Monday 9 July.
The field of 103 golfers included representatives of our loyal sponsors and we thank them for their continued support.
The chilly breeze certainly turned the tap on in my nose, but otherwise the weather was good for a game of golf.
A countback was required to separate the three top teams all on 45 points with John Fanning and John Keller of Hill Top getting the nod ahead of Len Adams and Doug Bray of Rich River, with Graeme North (Shepparton) and Gary Bow (Nagambie) collecting third prize.
Nearest the pin was contested on 2nd, 5th and 12th holes with John Fanning, Kevin Humbert (Lockington) and Graeme Rothwell (Deniliquin) the respective winners.
