Yeamans in print
MARISA Yeaman will launch her book The Yeaman Family in Australia at the Echuca library on Friday.
The 254-page book explores the history of the Yeaman family who arrived in Australia in 1841 from Edinburgh and settled in the Tennyson district as selectors in 1873.
This book tells the story of the early development of colonial Victoria and also parts of the Campaspe region through the lives of one family, as they lived it.
Marisa Yeaman is an accomplished singer/songwriter and a genealogist.
She will discuss the process behind writing a family history and some of the unique research discoveries made during her work which led to her working across several continents and covering a time period of more than 250 years.
Join Marisa for her book launch on Friday at the Echuca Regional Library at 1.30pm.
