Bazaar occasion in Hare St on Monday

The Riverine Herald - - NEWS -

MONDAY’S Turkish Bazaar is shaping up to be the best in a long time, Echuca Moama Business and Trades Association president Daniel Mackrell said.

A revamp to the event, which included adding more local stall holders and reducing the hours, has proved popular and Mr Mackrell said he expected all 52 sites to be booked out by today.

‘‘This year has been a completely different story to last year — we have about 12 new stall holders who have come on board,’’ Mr Mackrell said. ‘‘A lot of those are home businesses who previously haven’t been involved and we also have the support of the Little Me Market who have got some stall holders together.’’

Mr Mackrell said EMBTA relies on collaboration with the community, and the support the group has received for this year’s event has been outstanding.

It will be buzzing with live broadcasts from Edge FM, EMFM and Echuca Moama Theatre Company will entertain crowds. Hare St will be blocked to traffic and the event will run from 9am-2pm.
