Calling all 80s’ teens

The Riverine Herald - - WHAT’S ON -

FOR those who grew up in the twin towns during the 1980s, this weekend is your chance to catch up with all your old mates at the Echuca 80s’ Teen Reunion.

Organiser Suzy Farley has been tirelessly working on this year’s event and expects it to be bigger and better.

With the help of fellow 80s’ teen Dean Oberin, Suzy has organised a fantastic event, on the top deck of The American Hotel.

Starting at 7pm on Saturday night and going to the early hours of Sunday morning, reunion-goers can enjoy a night of laughter, reminiscing and catching up with old friends.

There will be free entry for all Echuca 80s’ teens with the legendary Mick Harris performing. Happy hour will include classic 80s’ drinks at 80s’ prices with $2 beer, wine and sparkling and $5 slushies.

Alley Cat and Glen McBride will hit the decks, DJing only 70s and 80s’ hits all night long.

So Echuca teenagers of the 1980s, head on down to The American Hotel on Saturday night, fill in a name tag, grab your memento wristband, take full advantage of the Happy Hour and laugh, chat and sing with all your past and present friends.
