Game of the season was a no go
THE BIGGEST game in the town.
First against second to show who were the dominant team in the competition. It didn’t even get on the ground. The showdown between Tongala and Kyabram Fire Brigade was a wash out, reducing day two’s play to a standard one day game next Saturday.
But the locals still had a chance to shine.
Kirk Teasdale and Alistair McCann would add 164 combined to Moama’s total of 314, a score that sees Moama in a strong position going into day two of their clash with BLU.
While a half century from Charlie Hinks wouldn’t be enough as Echuca managed just 197 against South.
