Holidays lead to the library

THROUGHOUT January and the school holidays the Port of Echuca and the library are coming alive.

With a stack of activities to keep the kids busy over the break, head down to our historical strip for some free fun in the sun.

On Wednesday, running from 9.30am-12.30pm, there will be plenty of arts and craft to get your hands dirty.

Saturday from 8am-10am, there is yoga on the wharf to help you relax.

And on Sunday through to Wednesday from 10am-2pm live art and kids colouring-in has been organised by Ray Hill.

In conjunctio­n with the Port events, the Echuca library has a huge number of activities planned throughout this week.

Today you can head to the library for Rhyme Time at 10:30am or Stocking Critters at 2:30pm. Tuesday will have Under the Sea Diorama making at 10:30am, card players at 1pm and Terrific Tesselatio­ns at 2:30pm. On Wednesday, there will be a knitting aee at 12:30pm, a family movie at 2:30pm, lego fun at 4pm and at 7pm there will be pizza and board games.

Thursday morning will have baby Rhyme Time at 11am, card players at 1pm, pencil boxes with Bunnings at 2:30 and Gamers Club and tech Zzne beginning at 4pm. Friday will begin wil storytime at 10:30am and Slime and Snow at 2:30pm. The week of activities will end on Saturday at 10:00 with Scrabble.

Get out of the house this week and enjoy the events the Campaspe Shire services and the Port of Echuca are putting on for the January break.
