The exhibition was recently shown at Whitespace Gallery during the Auckland Festival of Photography, and Rose launched his first published book during the opening of the exhibition on May 29.

With the full title of Live, Train, Fight like Thai — A New Zealand Perspective, it documents the images that Rose captured during his many hours at gyms and fight nights in the New Zealand Muay Thai community.

Rose used the online-fundraising platform of Pledge me to raise the money required to see the book through to fruition. He met his target of $10,000 through the fundraiser, and worked with publisher PQ Blackwell to create the book.
