Phase One XF camera system
As one of the first to offer full-frame medium-format CCD systems, Phase One has been pushing the limits of digital image quality for more than 20 years. Now, with a full-frame medium-format CMOS solution on offer, 2016 brings the much-anticipated 100MP back for its modular XF medium-format camera system.
Offering the same great advantages of full-frame usability, the Phase One XF camera system also enjoys the benefits of a CMOS sensor co-developed with Sony, which continues to assert its steady dominance as the front-footer of sensor advancement.
With no lens-crop factors and no focus screen masks, the XF delivers superior image quality from edge to edge — it’s a system that’s engineered to perform well beyond 100-megapixel imaging. It boasts true 16-colour output, a wide dynamic range of up to 15 stops, and low noise through the ISO range of 50 up to 12,800 to ensure great performance reaches its full potential. Plus, with exposure times of up to an hour, and live view capturing with HDMI output, its advanced functions seamlessly complement the image sensor’s extraordinary resolution.
The Phase One XF 100MP Camera System is a serious investment for most — but is now available for rental from White Studios. For more information, or to book a demonstration, visit whitestudios.co.nz.
