ANGEL David & B Hayes & T Dabernig 08-SEP-18 MORP Rider reported the filly raced fiercely throughout event. 21-AUG-18 PAKS reported the slow tempo of the race did not suit filly, although it did make some ground when under pressure in the straight. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality. Added after beginning fair, rode mount along early to comply with instr, however, when another rnr was able to cross his mount near 1200m, he elected shift it to the outside as antic that rnr shifting
fence, which would have afforded him a pos with cover. Added when that rnr maintained its pos, he was unable to find cvr & as a result raced wide & without cover until near 700m. Rdr agreed in hindsight should have remained racing behind rnr in early stgs which would have afforded him a pos with cvr throughout. HIKAYA (NZ) Tony McEvoy 08-SEP-18 MORP Was awkward to begin and shortly thereafter got its head up, struck its rider in the face, shifted out contacted TEMPLAR and as a consequence shifted in and away from TEMPLAR onto JUST ROLLING, making contact with that horse, which had its
