GOLD COAST

The Sportsman Midweek - - Trackwork - — Greg Spletter

FREDDIE FOX TROT (R4 No. 1) will be no flash price at the Gold Coast tomorrow but does look the best of good things. He resumed with a cracking win in class six company a couple of weeks ago, scoring comfortably over the 1200m to notch up his fifth form just seven outings. He is destined for bigger and better things, and while we won’t get a flash price about him he is a great candidate to anchor your multiples. AGGRAVATE (R7 No. 2) bounced back to form here last week, scoring by more than two length over this trip against a similar field. It was a marked improvement on his second-up run when disappointing behind Goldfinch and he did it under the steadier of 60kg. He handles the wet easily and will take beating regardless of conditions underfoot.

PONYTALES (R8 No. 13) has progressed in two runs back this campaign and is about ready to produce a winning run. She was runner-up in a class three in town last start two runs prior was beaten just a couple of lengths in Listed grade over a mile. She’ll be fitter for the two hitouts and will give great sight.
