The Sportsman Midweek - - Trackwork - — Greg Spletter

CHESTEN FLYER (R7. No. 1) is a youngster we followed with some success in his three-year-old season in Saturday grade and he has returned as an older horse

great form. He was unlucky first-up at Belmont behind Night Voyage but atoned three weeks later with a strong win at Northam under 59kg. Last prep he was mixing it with the likes of Arcadia Prince and Masquerade and from inside draw is hard to go past. THE PEN (R5 No. 3) suffered a slight injury in running at Ascot last start and it will pay to go on his previous form in assessing his chances in the class one. Two runs back he was a strong winner over this course and distance, and two runs prior to that he finished second in a much tougher 0MW in town. There is very little depth to his opposition and can bounce back with win.
