SAMSTAG (R3 No. 1) chalked up another win last start and should be able to roll a modest line-up at Gawler tomorrow despite the big weight. He bolted in at Murray Bridge back in September, then was freshened up for a small drop back in distance before beating a slightly stronger field very comfortably here two weeks ago. He has never raced better and with Jake Toeroek retaining the ride will be hard to hold out again. CHUCKY (R1 No. 1) can kick us off with a win in the first after a narrow defeat on debut in town last week. He ran on from the tail to fall a nose short on the line and with the step up 1100m and a perfect barrier he can atone for the narrow loss with Todd Pannell on board.
