The Sportsman Midweek - - Trackwork - — Shayne O’Cass

TABROBANE (Race 6 No. 2) has been in a couple of races at his last two in fact, where the overall times were either very quick or the last 600m was so fast that you wouldn’t have expected him to be able to get any closer than he has. Bear in mind that he ran into Clipper at Scone and then the winner at Kembla, On The Top, who is pretty handy also. Well placed to win this time.

HAAMES (Race 3 No. 1) - is Colt Prosser trained gelding who has started 11 times for two wins and five placings. He ran fourth in a Highway at Rosehill in the winter before a spell. Won trial before he resumed with a creditable 1-length second here at Taree in a Class 1 on December 17. Can only be better for the run and whilst this is a Class 3, he has the highest benchmark rating of the line-up. GIDGEE GUY (Race 5 No. 6) - brings together Les Tilley and Robert Thompson, a profitable duo. This sprinter is second-up off placxing and has always shown a degree of talent. Drawn 1 which to be a big advantage to him around here.
