SAIPAN (R1 No. 1) has run well behind genuine city class horses at two runs back this prep and has the small open field covered at Gatton tomorrow. He was only a couple of lengths behind Siliqua fresh up from a spell, then led and stuck of well behind Irish Constabulary at the Sunny Coast. He will be too strong for his five rivals.

NOW YOU SEE (R7 No. 5) is another who has been mixing it in town and gets a welcome drop in grade back to a Bm62. She beat all but the in-form Yarrapower two starts ago before drawing wide and covering extra ground at her home track and she still stuck on well at the end of 1300m. She has an outstanding record at the trip and should break through for her first win this campaign.

TOUJOURS L’AMOUR (R6 No. 6) will find her assignment against the three-year-olds easier than her last test when she just battled behind Basara at Ipswich. Her previous win there was very strong.
