CAULFIELD

The Sportsman Weekend - - The Trackwork Winners - GEORGE LUCAS

LIGHTLY-raced four-year-old mare NAANTALI is finally putting it all together winning three out of her last four starts.

She appears to be on track for three in-a-row when she steps out in the first race atCaulfield tomorrow.

It was just a quiet morning on Tuesday for her with a bit of pacework. She’s holding her condition well and thriving in her work.

She is the one to beat again here.

It’s worth noting TAGREEDA worked super on Tuesday morning over 1200m before dashing home her last 400m in 23.15. Watch for an improvement third-up.

Unbeaten three-year-old colt ROCK HARD was tuned up for his return to racing in the Group 3 Vain Stakes (1100m) with a stylish jumpout during the week.

He looked good on Tuesday morning, where his jumpout was the course proper, from the 1200m-400m mark, recording a time of 50.02 and he still had something in the tank.

This is his biggest test to date, however I’d expect him to run usual honest race.

HIGH RATIO worked 800m in 53.16 and 25.28 last 400m.

Forgive CAUSEWAY GIRL on her second-up, she really didn’t get a proper crack them. Will represent terrific value in the Group 3 Quezette Stakes (1100m).

Excellent gallop on Tuesday, went 800m in 52.13, home a slick 23.20 last 400m. Each way.

MIGHTY BOSS and GRUNT have recently trialled well at Cranbourne resume in the Group 2 PB Lawrence Stakes, a W. F. A run over 1400m.

They worked together on Tuesday over 1000m, clocking 1.05 and 23.30 last 400m.

HOLY SNOW wasn’t pushed hard on the track, also looked good in his recent official trial at Cranbourne.

Hype horse ARDROSSAN resumes in the Regal Roller Stakes. A recent trial winner who has been working well at home and expected to run well fresh.

Galloped during the week with High Ratio over 800m, clocking 53.16 and 25.28 last 400m.

OREGON’S DAY breezed over 800m in 51.66 and 23.35, top work on the morning.

Like MASK OF TIME’S prospects, third-up in the final race over 1600m. Recent runs have been first rate and he’s working into form and a real live each-way hope here in.

Restricted to trot canter work on Tuesday, he’ll be cherry ripe on the day and one for the multiple punters.
