The MSC Signs Handicap (2040m) at Moonee Valley tonight looks the perfect race on paper for the Leon McDonaldtrained WAGING WAR.

It was an excellent run last start when specked at odds in the Group 1 Toorak Handicap, finishing 3.65L off Land Of Plenty. He went around at Caulfield over 1800m on Tuesday morning, clocking 2.12.58 and 37.45 for his last 600m split. He’s going to be at his top on the day.

ASSERTIVE PLAY represents Stokes camp in the Listed Crockett Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley tomorrow. It was a fair run last start and she’ll be spot on for this race. On Tuesday morning, she worked with MUSIC BAY (Group 2 Aquis Classic) at Moonee Valley over 800m, clocking 51.70 and 24.27 for his last 400m hard up on the steel.

He has come through that run nicely and wasn’t pushed hard on Tuesday, working over 1200m in evens and last 400m in 24.73, with stablemate BINT CHEROKEE.

It’s worth noting PRIZED ICON was flying at Caulfield before being scratched last week and he is a big watch here.

MISS ADMIRATION will represent the Price stable in the Moonee Valley Gold Cup (2500m) and is over the odds my opinion.

She made ground late in the Herbert Power and will contest this in tip top order.

On Tuesday morning, she worked at Moonee Valley over 1600m in 1.56.06 and come home in 26.16 for her last 400m. Take her on both totes.

A cracking gallop at Moonee Valley on Tuesday morning has HOUTZEN’s connections brimming with confidence going into the Group 1 Manikato Stakes under lights tonight.

She didn’t have much luck last start and gets her chance here from barrier 4.

She was clocked over 800m in 50.56 and a slick 23.21 last 400m.

All systems go!

The Stokes pair of MORE THAN EXCEED (Red Anchor Stakes) and NODOUBTABOUTIT, who will line up as some sort of hope in the 55 Second Challenge under lights tonight, worked very well together when partnering up on Tuesday morning on the Moonee Valley.
