A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to have lost its offfore plate on returning to scale. 7 FOWZ 22/11/2018 Kensington Shortly after the start was shifted in behind runners from its wide barrier. Proved reluctant to shift to the outside of another rnr in the early part the straight and had a tendency to lay in. For a short distance thereafter, when shifted into clear running, closed the race off satisfactorily. Race 2: 1 RONSTAR 17/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens A pre-race vet exam of geld, which sustained a minor abrasion to its near hind paster passed it fit start. Bumped on jumping. Laid out in the mid stgs. Rdr std with mount coming back in dist today it did not trav comf with fast early tempo. Added in his view mount would now benefit fm a step up in dist. P/R vet rev geld to have aggravated wound on its near hind pastern. Trn agreed with rdr’s views. Trn advised stable was satisfied with post-race cond of the gelding. 3 BEIDI 17/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens A postrace veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. 4 PEMBROKE CASTLE 30/11/2018 Canterbury Park COT - To be ridden further forward; settled on pace. Passing the 150m was hampered & its rdr was obl to steady his mount when tightened by another rnr. 6 ZALATTE (NZ) 22/11/2018 Kensington After being slow to begin, shifted in & made contact with the hindquarter of another runner. Near the 200m was taken inwards, as a result got its head on the side, shifted in away from another runner & then bumped with runner. Race 3: 1 BENNELONG DANCER 8/11/2018 Albury Carried wider on the home turn 4 HEMMERLE 16/06/2018 Rosehill Gardens From its wide barrier was steadied & shifted in behind runners. Was inclined to lay when placed under pressure the straight. 9 OUR ROSEMAREE 17/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Taken in by another runner for some distance after the 800m. 10 BLUE COLLAR BOY 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens When qst re riding on h/t & if opport to shift to outside of another rnr to secure running, rdr std, instr were take up mid pos but when another rnr impr fwd near 900m geld was shuffled back further in field. Added in mid stgs geld was inclined to race keenly when placed close heels & fm 800m contemplated following another rnr but felt he would have had come wide & was fancied rnr’s. Raced keenly in middle In the straight was inclined to lay in. 2 NAVAL WARFARE (IRE) 17/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Hung out on the home turn. Was inclined to lay in over final 150m. 3 ETYMOLOGY 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens When making the h/t & commencing to impr into race, was steadied from heels & shifted to that rnr’s inside to secure clear running. Was then briefly held up on the back of another rnr until nearing 350m. 4 ARAAJA (IRE) 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens When qst re racing back in field, rdr std instr were to take up a handy pos on mount, but when caught wide in early stgs he was obl to come back on the mare to avoid being in early stages. 5 GREEN SWEET (USA) 25/11/2018 Goulburn Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. 6 GAMBLER’S BLUES 1/12/2018 Rosehill Gardens After beginning awkwardly was bumped on jumping. 7 GAMBLESTOWN (NZ) 16/11/2018 Canterbury Park Began awkwardly. 8 MEROVEE 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Slow to begin. Race 5: 1 SIR BACCHUS 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Began only fairly. 3 NEW UNIVERSE (NZ) From the outside barrier was shifted behind runners in the early stages. For some distance near 300m was held up for clear running. 6 ONSLAUGHT 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Began awkwardly, lost ground & shortly afterwards was bumped by another runner. 8 KILMACURRAGH (NZ) 5/05/2018 Flemington R no exp. Vet no abs. 10 MAN OF PEACE 10/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Over the final 200m hung out under pressure which restricted its rider in being able to fully test the gelding to the finish of the race. Race 6: 2 SWEET DEAL 17/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Stewards permitted rider to ride mare 0.5kg over its allotted weight. Jumped awkwardly. 4 NICCI’S GOLD 17/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens After being slow to begin was then crowded. 5 SWEET VICTORY 4/08/2018 Royal Randwick Was briefly held up in the early part of the straight as it endeavoured to secure clear running to the inside of another runner. 6 VELOCITA 10/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Held up making the home turn. 7 DEFT 17/11/2018 Near the 1000m was bumped by another runner. Laid out in the straight. 9 SO MAGIC 23/11/2018 Hawkesbury Shifted in on jumping. 10 WITH PURPOSE 25/11/2018 Goulburn Held up in the early part of the straight when attempting to improve to the inside of leader where there was not sufficient room and near 250m was brought to the outside of that runner to obtain clear running. Hung out for the remainder of the race. Race 7: 2 CORUSCATE 10/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Stable representative reported that the gelding had a small laceration to near hind fetlock. 4 BON AMIS 10/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Shifted out on jumping. On 2 occasions near the 900m bumped with another runner, as a result became unbalanced when taken towards the running rail. Approaching the 600m was inconvenienced when racing tight to the inside of another runner. 5 REDOUBLE 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Bumped by runner on straightening. 6 SINGLE BULLET 27/10/2018 Royal Randwick Post race vet exam revealed the gelding to have lost its near fore plate. 9 SLOW BURN 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Rdr std instr were to take up a mid pos & in mid stgs when another rnr impr to his outside his mount commenced race fiercely & as a consequence was checked fm heels for some dist appr 800m. Added in this incident shifted to a pos 3 wide on the track. Further std on h/t looked to follow winner into str, but when another rnr impr to his outside near the 450m he was unable to do so & as a consequence impr the inside another rnr & behind another rnr. Said in str he could not fully test mount when held up on heels initially of rnr’s & again over concluding stgs awk pos. 10 NICCOBELLE 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Slow to begin & shortly after made contact with another runner. 11 EVER SO NATURAL 25/07/2018 Canterbury Park On the home turn was steadied when disappointed for clear running between runners. 12 JUNGLIZED 15/09/2018 Doomben Rider questioned re performance - stated able to lead as intended however never really travelled well throughout and responded only briefly when placed under pressure and was disappointing in straight. Trainer advised gelding had arrived Thursday and it was its first trip away. He felt this may have an affect in future would travel earlier to allow the gelding to acclimatise before its start. 13 NICCOLANCE 28/07/2018 Rosehill Gardens When qst re leading, rdr std at its 1st up run on 7 July his instr had been to take a fwd pos behind leader, but mount was a little slow to begin & raced further back than intended. Added instr today were similar in that he was to endeavour to find cover, but after commencing well he was obl go fwd & lead rather than be caught wide in early stgs. Trn conf instr last start were to be more fwd & nonetheless reminded of his obligation to notify Stewards any COT. 14e ISORICH 30/11/2018 Canterbury Park Was slow to begin & after being ridden along in the early stages, was crowded shortly after the start between runners. 15e SEDITION 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Had to be steadied inside the 200m. A postrace veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality. Race 8: 4 ASTERIUS 17/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Slow to begin and was shifted in behind runners in the early stages. Hampered near 1000m. Near the 250m was shifted to the inside of another rnr to continue into clear running and over the concluding stages could not be tested when held up on the heels of another runner. 9 LAUSSEL 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens From outside barrier, was shifted behind rnr’s in the early stgs. On str was held up behind another rnr before shifting to that rnr’s outside near the 350m. Near the 150m was steadied when disap for running between rnr’s. Then could not be tested until near the 50m. 10 DESTINY’S OWN 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Slow to begin. Briefly held up for clear running near the 300m. 12 CAMPARI (NZ) 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Stewards permitted rdr to ride mare 0.5kg over its allotted weight. Approaching the 1000m was steadied away from heels of another rnr. Rdr advised in his opinion his mount did not appreciate today’s firm surface & is better suited on tracks that are more forgiving. Added as a result his mount did not fully stretch out under pressure in the straight. Post race vet rev no abs. 13 VICTIME DE L’AMOUR 21/11/2018 Newcastle When qstd re racing further forward, rider stated from outside barrier was instructed to be positive from barriers to obtain a forward position. Added after beginning awkwardly, & when a number of runners drawn to inside showed similar speed, was obliged to make some use of mount cross & obtain position outside leader near 1200m. Trainer was reminded of obligation to notify Stewards change in riding tactics. 14 WEEKEND AFFAIR 16/11/2018 Canterbury Park Raced keenly in the middle stages. Continued to lay out over the final 100m. Race 9: 1 DRACHENFELS 1/12/2018 Rosehill Gardens Raced wide and without cover. Near the 350m was hampered when carried wider by another runner. Lost its off-fore plate during running. 3 LORD VON COSTA 3/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Began awkwardly, making contact with its offside barrier partition and lost ground. Approaching the 700m was bumped on the hindquarter by another runner. 5 CONARCHIE 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Began awkwardly. 6 LISDOONVARNA (NZ) 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Rider stated that his intention was to be more forward today but when caught wide in the early stages due to his mount not showing its customary early speed he was obliged to come back and race towards the rear of the field to avoid covering additional ground. 9 DISCUSSIONS 22/11/2018 Kensington Shifted in on jumping. 10 GOOD WEATHER 16/11/2018 Canterbury Park Raced wide and without cover throughout the race. 11 DUNATUN 22/11/2018 Kensington Shifted in on jumping. Commenced to lay in when placed under pressure over the final 200m & proved difficult for rdr to ride his mount in his normal manner. When cont to lay made contact with another runner near the 30m, obliging its rider to correct his mount. 12 MOET ROSE 21/11/2018 Ladbrokes Park Lakeside Commenced awkwardly. 13e TIGER BY THE TALE 24/11/2018 Rosehill Gardens Began awkwardly & from a wide barrier was shifted behind runners in the early stages.
