A post-race vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed the filly to have lost its off­fore plate on re­turn­ing to scale. 7 FOWZ 22/11/2018 Kens­ing­ton Shortly after the start was shifted in be­hind run­ners from its wide bar­rier. Proved re­luc­tant to shift to the out­side of an­other rnr in the early part the straight and had a ten­dency to lay in. For a short dis­tance there­after, when shifted into clear run­ning, closed the race off sat­is­fac­to­rily. Race 2: 1 RON­STAR 17/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens A pre-race vet exam of geld, which sus­tained a mi­nor abra­sion to its near hind paster passed it fit start. Bumped on jump­ing. Laid out in the mid stgs. Rdr std with mount com­ing back in dist to­day it did not trav comf with fast early tempo. Added in his view mount would now ben­e­fit fm a step up in dist. P/R vet rev geld to have ag­gra­vated wound on its near hind pastern. Trn agreed with rdr’s views. Trn ad­vised sta­ble was sat­is­fied with post-race cond of the geld­ing. 3 BEIDI 17/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens A pos­trace vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion re­vealed no ab­nor­mal­i­ties. 4 PEMBROKE CAS­TLE 30/11/2018 Can­ter­bury Park COT - To be rid­den fur­ther for­ward; set­tled on pace. Pass­ing the 150m was ham­pered & its rdr was obl to steady his mount when tight­ened by an­other rnr. 6 ZALATTE (NZ) 22/11/2018 Kens­ing­ton After be­ing slow to be­gin, shifted in & made con­tact with the hindquar­ter of an­other run­ner. Near the 200m was taken in­wards, as a re­sult got its head on the side, shifted in away from an­other run­ner & then bumped with run­ner. Race 3: 1 BEN­NE­LONG DANCER 8/11/2018 Al­bury Car­ried wider on the home turn 4 HEMMERLE 16/06/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens From its wide bar­rier was stead­ied & shifted in be­hind run­ners. Was in­clined to lay when placed un­der pres­sure the straight. 9 OUR ROSEMAREE 17/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Taken in by an­other run­ner for some dis­tance after the 800m. 10 BLUE COL­LAR BOY 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens When qst re rid­ing on h/t & if op­port to shift to out­side of an­other rnr to se­cure run­ning, rdr std, in­str were take up mid pos but when an­other rnr impr fwd near 900m geld was shuf­fled back fur­ther in field. Added in mid stgs geld was in­clined to race keenly when placed close heels & fm 800m con­tem­plated fol­low­ing an­other rnr but felt he would have had come wide & was fan­cied rnr’s. Fur­ther std on str when an­other rnr did not impr was held up on heels un­til near 300m whereby se­cured clear run­ning & over fi­nal 200m was in­clined to lay in un­able to test fully as a re­sult. 11 ROY’S COM­MAND 20/10/2018 New­cas­tle Post race vet rev no abs. 13 TAKARAKKA 26/11/2018 Bal­lina Ran wide round­ing the home turn. 15e VEE EIGHT 10/11/2018 Goul­burn Slow to be­gin. From the wide bar­rier was shifted in be­hind run­ners in the early stages. Raced keenly in mid­dle In the straight was in­clined to lay in. 2 NAVAL WAR­FARE (IRE) 17/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Hung out on the home turn. Was in­clined to lay in over fi­nal 150m. 3 ET­Y­MOL­OGY 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens When mak­ing the h/t & com­menc­ing to impr into race, was stead­ied from heels & shifted to that rnr’s in­side to se­cure clear run­ning. Was then briefly held up on the back of an­other rnr un­til near­ing 350m. 4 ARAAJA (IRE) 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens When qst re rac­ing back in field, rdr std in­str were to take up a handy pos on mount, but when caught wide in early stgs he was obl to come back on the mare to avoid be­ing in early stages. 5 GREEN SWEET (USA) 25/11/2018 Goul­burn Raced keenly in the early and mid­dle stages. 6 GAM­BLER’S BLUES 1/12/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens After be­gin­ning awk­wardly was bumped on jump­ing. 7 GAMBLESTOWN (NZ) 16/11/2018 Can­ter­bury Park Be­gan awk­wardly. 8 MEROVEE 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Slow to be­gin. Race 5: 1 SIR BACCHUS 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Be­gan only fairly. 3 NEW UNI­VERSE (NZ) From the out­side bar­rier was shifted be­hind run­ners in the early stages. For some dis­tance near 300m was held up for clear run­ning. 6 ON­SLAUGHT 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Be­gan awk­wardly, lost ground & shortly af­ter­wards was bumped by an­other run­ner. 8 KILMACURRAGH (NZ) 5/05/2018 Flem­ing­ton R no exp. Vet no abs. 10 MAN OF PEACE 10/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Over the fi­nal 200m hung out un­der pres­sure which re­stricted its rider in be­ing able to fully test the geld­ing to the fin­ish of the race. Race 6: 2 SWEET DEAL 17/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Stew­ards per­mit­ted rider to ride mare 0.5kg over its al­lot­ted weight. Jumped awk­wardly. 4 NICCI’S GOLD 17/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens After be­ing slow to be­gin was then crowded. 5 SWEET VIC­TORY 4/08/2018 Royal Rand­wick Was briefly held up in the early part of the straight as it en­deav­oured to se­cure clear run­ning to the in­side of an­other run­ner. 6 VELOCITA 10/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Held up mak­ing the home turn. 7 DEFT 17/11/2018 Near the 1000m was bumped by an­other run­ner. Laid out in the straight. 9 SO MAGIC 23/11/2018 Hawkes­bury Shifted in on jump­ing. 10 WITH PUR­POSE 25/11/2018 Goul­burn Held up in the early part of the straight when at­tempt­ing to im­prove to the in­side of leader where there was not suf­fi­cient room and near 250m was brought to the out­side of that run­ner to ob­tain clear run­ning. Hung out for the re­main­der of the race. Race 7: 2 CORUSCATE 10/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Sta­ble rep­re­sen­ta­tive re­ported that the geld­ing had a small lac­er­a­tion to near hind fet­lock. 4 BON AMIS 10/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Shifted out on jump­ing. On 2 oc­ca­sions near the 900m bumped with an­other run­ner, as a re­sult be­came un­bal­anced when taken to­wards the run­ning rail. Ap­proach­ing the 600m was in­con­ve­nienced when rac­ing tight to the in­side of an­other run­ner. 5 REDOUBLE 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Bumped by run­ner on straight­en­ing. 6 SIN­GLE BUL­LET 27/10/2018 Royal Rand­wick Post race vet exam re­vealed the geld­ing to have lost its near fore plate. 9 SLOW BURN 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Rdr std in­str were to take up a mid pos & in mid stgs when an­other rnr impr to his out­side his mount com­menced race fiercely & as a con­se­quence was checked fm heels for some dist appr 800m. Added in this in­ci­dent shifted to a pos 3 wide on the track. Fur­ther std on h/t looked to fol­low win­ner into str, but when an­other rnr impr to his out­side near the 450m he was un­able to do so & as a con­se­quence impr the in­side an­other rnr & be­hind an­other rnr. Said in str he could not fully test mount when held up on heels ini­tially of rnr’s & again over con­clud­ing stgs awk pos. 10 NICCOBELLE 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Slow to be­gin & shortly after made con­tact with an­other run­ner. 11 EVER SO NAT­U­RAL 25/07/2018 Can­ter­bury Park On the home turn was stead­ied when dis­ap­pointed for clear run­ning be­tween run­ners. 12 JUNGLIZED 15/09/2018 Doomben Rider ques­tioned re per­for­mance - stated able to lead as in­tended how­ever never re­ally trav­elled well through­out and re­sponded only briefly when placed un­der pres­sure and was dis­ap­point­ing in straight. Trainer ad­vised geld­ing had ar­rived Thurs­day and it was its first trip away. He felt this may have an af­fect in fu­ture would travel ear­lier to al­low the geld­ing to ac­cli­ma­tise be­fore its start. 13 NICCOLANCE 28/07/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens When qst re lead­ing, rdr std at its 1st up run on 7 July his in­str had been to take a fwd pos be­hind leader, but mount was a lit­tle slow to be­gin & raced fur­ther back than in­tended. Added in­str to­day were sim­i­lar in that he was to en­deav­our to find cover, but after com­menc­ing well he was obl go fwd & lead rather than be caught wide in early stgs. Trn conf in­str last start were to be more fwd & none­the­less re­minded of his obli­ga­tion to no­tify Stew­ards any COT. 14e ISORICH 30/11/2018 Can­ter­bury Park Was slow to be­gin & after be­ing rid­den along in the early stages, was crowded shortly after the start be­tween run­ners. 15e SEDITION 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Had to be stead­ied in­side the 200m. A pos­trace vet­eri­nary ex­am­i­na­tion did not re­veal any ab­nor­mal­ity. Race 8: 4 ASTERIUS 17/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Slow to be­gin and was shifted in be­hind run­ners in the early stages. Ham­pered near 1000m. Near the 250m was shifted to the in­side of an­other rnr to con­tinue into clear run­ning and over the con­clud­ing stages could not be tested when held up on the heels of an­other run­ner. 9 LAUSSEL 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens From out­side bar­rier, was shifted be­hind rnr’s in the early stgs. On str was held up be­hind an­other rnr be­fore shift­ing to that rnr’s out­side near the 350m. Near the 150m was stead­ied when disap for run­ning be­tween rnr’s. Then could not be tested un­til near the 50m. 10 DESTINY’S OWN 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Slow to be­gin. Briefly held up for clear run­ning near the 300m. 12 CAM­PARI (NZ) 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Stew­ards per­mit­ted rdr to ride mare 0.5kg over its al­lot­ted weight. Ap­proach­ing the 1000m was stead­ied away from heels of an­other rnr. Rdr ad­vised in his opin­ion his mount did not ap­pre­ci­ate to­day’s firm sur­face & is bet­ter suited on tracks that are more for­giv­ing. Added as a re­sult his mount did not fully stretch out un­der pres­sure in the straight. Post race vet rev no abs. 13 VICTIME DE L’AMOUR 21/11/2018 New­cas­tle When qstd re rac­ing fur­ther for­ward, rider stated from out­side bar­rier was in­structed to be pos­i­tive from bar­ri­ers to ob­tain a for­ward po­si­tion. Added after be­gin­ning awk­wardly, & when a num­ber of run­ners drawn to in­side showed sim­i­lar speed, was obliged to make some use of mount cross & ob­tain po­si­tion out­side leader near 1200m. Trainer was re­minded of obli­ga­tion to no­tify Stew­ards change in rid­ing tac­tics. 14 WEEK­END AF­FAIR 16/11/2018 Can­ter­bury Park Raced keenly in the mid­dle stages. Con­tin­ued to lay out over the fi­nal 100m. Race 9: 1 DRACHENFELS 1/12/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Raced wide and with­out cover. Near the 350m was ham­pered when car­ried wider by an­other run­ner. Lost its off-fore plate dur­ing run­ning. 3 LORD VON COSTA 3/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Be­gan awk­wardly, mak­ing con­tact with its off­side bar­rier par­ti­tion and lost ground. Ap­proach­ing the 700m was bumped on the hindquar­ter by an­other run­ner. 5 CONARCHIE 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Be­gan awk­wardly. 6 LISDOONVARNA (NZ) 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Rider stated that his in­ten­tion was to be more for­ward to­day but when caught wide in the early stages due to his mount not show­ing its cus­tom­ary early speed he was obliged to come back and race to­wards the rear of the field to avoid cov­er­ing ad­di­tional ground. 9 DIS­CUS­SIONS 22/11/2018 Kens­ing­ton Shifted in on jump­ing. 10 GOOD WEATHER 16/11/2018 Can­ter­bury Park Raced wide and with­out cover through­out the race. 11 DU­NATUN 22/11/2018 Kens­ing­ton Shifted in on jump­ing. Com­menced to lay in when placed un­der pres­sure over the fi­nal 200m & proved dif­fi­cult for rdr to ride his mount in his nor­mal man­ner. When cont to lay made con­tact with an­other run­ner near the 30m, oblig­ing its rider to cor­rect his mount. 12 MOET ROSE 21/11/2018 Ladbrokes Park Lake­side Com­menced awk­wardly. 13e TIGER BY THE TALE 24/11/2018 Rose­hill Gar­dens Be­gan awk­wardly & from a wide bar­rier was shifted be­hind run­ners in the early stages.
