Safaris with personal touch

The Sunday Mail (Queensland) - Escape - - OVER 50S TRAVEL -

CLIVE and Anne Arnold, wildlife photographers and conservationists, take Australians on safari to Africa.

Offering personalised, small group safaris, Clive and Anne take an average of 10 safaris per year to southern and east Africa. These mostly concentrate on wildlife and African tribes as well as spectacular scenery.

Getting up close and interacting is what Safaris into Africa specialises in, as opposed to only viewing wildlife from a vehicle. Accommodation ranges from four to five-star lodges and hotels as the comfort and enjoyment of their travellers is paramount to Clive and Anne.

The company’s 2010 safaris have now sold out with bookings being taken for next year. In 2011, Clive and Anne will be offering an East Africa tour, allowing holidaymakers to witness the ‘‘ great migration’’ from the Masai Mara and the Serengeti.

Safaris into Africa also specialises in personalised tours and can include other destinations and activities such as Cape Town, Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles, Egypt, gorilla treks and train travel.

Tour dates, a free brochure and DVD are also available.
