WWI planes take to sky
THE only collection of flying World War I aircraft in Australia will put on an aerial display above Caboolture next weekend.
The TAVAS Great War Flying Display will showcase the significance Australian airmen played over the past 100 years.
The airshow will feature a replica 1918 fighter of 1 Squadron doing a low fly-by in front of the crowd as well as a modern F/A-18F Super Hornet.
Tickets cost $30 at the gate for the show at Caboolture Airfield on April 21 and 22.
