Mustering support for prostate cancer awareness
THIS year’s Gympie Music Muster will raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
The muster has generated more than $15 million for char- ity and community groups since it began in 1982.
Muster chair Greg Cavanagh said the choice of this year’s charity partner was driven by the disproportionate im- pact prostate cancer had in rural and regional areas.
This year, a Biggest Ever Bloke’s Lunch will be held at the Gympie Music Muster on August 24, including a two- course meal and guest speeches by country artist John Williamson and guitarist Tim Gaze. Tickets are $55 and can be pre-purchased at muster.com.au
