JACKI MacDonald has found a new career – on the other side of the camera.

The zany 1980s TV icon, who audiences fell in love with on Hey Hey It’s Saturday, is now the anonymous face behind the marketing for Eat Street Northshore, Brisbane.

And she admits she’s an Instagram junkie, posting videos from the popular food markets to social media.

“Social media, I love it, it’s the most fun you’ll ever have,” the 64-year-old told U on Sunday during a laughter-filled chat recently.

“The Instagram videos are like making a television show. It’s about making the best of people’s personalities.”

In 2013 MacDonald joined close friends restaurateur Peter Hackworth, TV producer John Stainton, and retail entrepreneur John Harrison to establish Eat Street. “It’s been a great adventure for me,” she said.
