Facebook compo package
LOS ANGELES: Mark Zuckerberg, chief and co-founder of Facbook, had a compensation package of $11.4 million in 2017, up 54 per cent from the year prior; which was almost all for personal security and use of a private jet.
His salary was a token $1 as it has been since 2013.
As of March 31, Zuckerberg (pictured) owned 401.5 million Facebook shares, worth $8.5 billion. The compensation “consisted almost entirely of costs related to personal security for Mr. Zuckerberg at his residences and during personal travel pursuant to his overall security program and costs related to personal usage of private aircraft,” Facebook said in a regulatory filing.
