Former Miss Oz has ear of a bil­lion cricket fans

AUSSIE beauty queen Erin Hol­land (pic­tured) has landed a ma­jor tele­vi­sion host­ing gig that will see her broad­cast to more than 1 bil­lion peo­ple.

The former Miss World Aus­tralia, singer and en­ter­tainer will an­chor Star In­dia’s In­dian Premier League (IPL) cricket cov­er­age over the com­ing months.

“When I am not an­chor­ing the pre-game, half­time and post-game shows from the stu­dio, they will have me sta­dium-side as a rov­ing re­porter, or com­pil­ing life­style sto­ries about the fans and the at­mos­phere of the IPL,” Hol­land told The Sun­day Mail.

“I will be bring­ing peo­ple closer to their favourite play­ers.” Hol­land has dated Aus­tralian crick­eter

Ben Cut­ting, who plays for the Mum­bai In­di­ans in the IPL, for the past three years.

Hol­land, who grew up in Cairns and splits her time be­tween Syd­ney and Bris­bane, will be seen on the chan­nel along­side cricket com­men­ta­tors in­clud­ing Michael Clarke,

Kevin Pi­etersen and Brett Lee.
