Former Miss Oz has ear of a billion cricket fans
AUSSIE beauty queen Erin Holland (pictured) has landed a major television hosting gig that will see her broadcast to more than 1 billion people.
The former Miss World Australia, singer and entertainer will anchor Star India’s Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket coverage over the coming months.
“When I am not anchoring the pre-game, halftime and post-game shows from the studio, they will have me stadium-side as a roving reporter, or compiling lifestyle stories about the fans and the atmosphere of the IPL,” Holland told The Sunday Mail.
“I will be bringing people closer to their favourite players.” Holland has dated Australian cricketer
Ben Cutting, who plays for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL, for the past three years.
Holland, who grew up in Cairns and splits her time between Sydney and Brisbane, will be seen on the channel alongside cricket commentators including Michael Clarke,
Kevin Pietersen and Brett Lee.
