A Grande Grammy’s snub­bing

ARI­ANA Grande, Tay­lor Swift, Bey­once and Jay-Z have been snubbed in the 2019 Grammy Award nom­i­na­tions, de­spite be­ing pre­dicted to earn nods in the ma­jor cat­e­gories.

No mi n a - tions were an­nounced in Los An­ge­les last night, with Ken­drick Lamar, Drake, and Brandi Carlile re­ceiv­ing most nods.

Grande (pic­tured), Swift and The Carters did not re­ceive a nom­i­na­tion in the most cov­eted cat­e­gories, Al­bum of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

An­other sur­prise snub was Nicki Mi­naj, who did not re­ceive a nom­i­na­tion for Queen.

The Carters were not com­pletely left out, scor­ing a few nom­i­na­tions in­clud­ing Best Ur­ban Con­tem­po­rary Al­bum for Ev­ery­thing Is Love.

Grande and Swift got nom­i­na­tions for Best Pop Vo­cal Al­bum.

Grande’s late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who died of an ac­ci­den­tal over­dose in Septem­ber, was nom­i­nated for Best Rap Al­bum for Swim­ming.

Ken­drick Lamar led the way with eight nom­i­na­tions, fol­lowed by Drake at seven.

Women dom­i­nated this year’s nom­i­na­tions.
