Can a daily wine PREVENT DEMENTIA?

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - Body and Soul - - NEWS -

That dinnertime glass of red isn’t just good for stress – it could be keeping your grey matter in good nick, too. Researchers at the University of Rochester Medical Center in the US have discovered that low doses of alcohol each day may help your brain dispose of toxic waste more efficiently, which could prevent development of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Of course, it’s still important to follow the national health guideline of no more than two standard drinks a day. And given that exercise can give your brain’s waste system an equivalent boost, you could always just go for a jog instead.
