STAND UP TO BREATHE EASY

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - Body and Soul - - B+S -

Are you one of the 2.5 million Aussies currently living with asthma? Siobhan Brophy, CEO of the National Asthma Council Australia, has some advice for you: never use your asthma inhaler while lying down. “The correct position is to keep your chin up and the inhaler upright,” she says. The reason? If you use your puffer in bed or lying on the couch, it could stop the medication from penetrating your lungs effectively.
