Re-opened in March this year af­ter a re­furb and ex­ten­sion, two huge new suites of­fer dual-as­pect views across the city sky­line and the Downs, and eye-catch­ing cop­per bath­tubs made for soak­ing it all in. Through­out the prop­erty you’ll ad­mire a cu­rated col­lec­tion of antiques and art. Break­fast and af­ter­noon tea are served in one of the two re­cep­tion rooms, while in sum­mer the out­door ter­race is made for cock­tail hour. In each room you’ll find free tea, cof­fee and cook­ies, waf­fle robes, and Ren skin­care prod­ucts. Save this stay for a break without the kids; chil­dren un­der 12 are not ac­com­mo­dated for.
