DO

Ap­ply in­sect re­pel­lent. There will be some in the suite, or you can bring your own and ap­ply be­fore and af­ter each sa­fari.

DON’T

Stand up in an open-top ve­hi­cle – an­i­mals may get star­tled and be­come aggressive.

DO

Close the win­dows and doors of your room when leav­ing, oth­er­wise you may be shar­ing your room.

DON’T

Walk alone back to your suite at night – wait for a ranger to ac­com­pany you.

Be aware that it’s cus­tom­ary to leave gra­tu­ities for staff, in­clud­ing rangers, track­ers and ser­vice staff. Ask the front desk for guide­lines. Tips should be given by plac­ing cash in marked en­velopes at the end of your stay.

DON’T

For­get to pack lay­ers be­cause even in sum­mer it can get cooler af­ter and be­fore sun­set. Bring a jacket and a light­weight scarf.
