LOHAN BEACH HOUSE, MYKONOS, GREECE
She’s gone from movie star, to serial train wreck, to beach club entrepreneur. While it may be hard to fathom, Lindsay Lohan of Mean Girls fame is at the helm of a mini Greek hospitality empire, the most recent addition of which is Lohan Beach House on the island of Mykonos.
Unveiled earlier this year, the eponymous launch marks her third venture following on the heels of Lohan Nightclub in Athens, and HOTEL TRESANTON Lohan Beach House in Rhodes. Set on party hotspot, Kalo Livadi beach, umbrellas and sun beds line the picturesque shore and beachside service means you can swim, snooze, sip cocktails, sample delicious snacks, and then repeat, all with minimum fuss and effort.
MTV recently announced it was filming a reality show around Lindsay and the club next summer, so time your visit right and you might even witness an appearance. LOHANMYKONOS.COM
COVE BEACH CAESARS PALACE, BLUEWATERS ISLAND, DUBAI, UAE
Opened last month, Caesars Palace Bluewaters resort and Cove Beach represent the first major launch within the new Bluewaters Island development – a man-made island located off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Residence.
The second property from the iconic Vegas hotel of the same name, the new beach club is as lavish as you’d expect from both hyperboleloving Dubai, and from a hotel as legendary as Caesars Palace.
Featuring no less than three swimming pools, two restaurants, a shisha terrace and access to a stunning, expansive private beach, the beach club also offers three jacuzzi cabanas. Promising a packed weekly live program, regular events include live bands, ladies’ days and UK club nights.
Offering uninterrupted views of the Arabian Gulf and the nearby famed “seven-star” hotel, the Burj al Arab, from its sun loungers, as of next year visitors will also be able to frequent the second Hell’s Kitchen outlet from celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, when it opens its doors in the main hotel.
