Bro­ken­wood Wines has un­veiled its new cel­lar door in the NSW Hunter Val­ley. More than 250,000 visi­tors a year are ex­pected through the $8 mil­lion build­ing, which re­places a 1975 struc­ture. The new com­plex in­cludes a tast­ing room with cir­cu­lar tast­ing “pods”, an out­door ter­race, and a mu­seum de­voted to the Pokol­bin win­ery’s his­tory. For din­ers, the Wood Restau­rant is fo­cus­ing on seafood from the Syd­ney Fish Mar­ket while the more ca­sual Cru Bar + Pantry is open for break­fast, lunch and snacks daily.
