When a six-year-old girl was kid­napped from her Cal­i­for­nian home, Project Child Save tracked her down in the jun­gles of Brazil where she was held cap­tive for 18 months. Con­sist­ing mainly of war vet­er­ans, Project Child Save res­cues kid­napped chil­dren who are sold into the sex trade, of­ten in re­mote parts of the world. The vet­er­ans storm build­ings and usu­ally kill the kid­nap­pers. The sto­ries are tragic and fright­en­ing, and the res­cues pro­foundly af­fect­ing for the good peo­ple in­volved.
