GREAT BARRIER REEF
Doco 6.30pm, Nine
The Great Barrier Reef is Australia’s true natural history museum, holding as much life as some entire oceans. This BBC production, voiced by Karl Stefanovic for Aussie audiences, is another shining light to go with their other beautiful docos that include Blue Planet and Earthflight. Sweeping shots from helicopters and time lapse cameras lodged between rocks at the bottom the seabed captures all the nooks and crannies of the largest living structure in the world. The doco, split into three parts, is gracefully filmed and it captures the power and fragility of our world.
