The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - TV Guide - - Best On The Box - – DS

Simmering tensions and unspoken truth boil over for the adults as the teens continue their shaky navigation through adolescence. Jeremy Lindsay Taylor plays it perfectly as awkward, unsure romantic, Marti, almost bumbling into the affections of a work colleague while his wife Judy ( Claudia Karvan) calls for marriage counselling. Philandering Ferris ( Rodger Corser) is left shaken when his mistress dumps him – and faces some melancholy truths. Debbie (Ashleigh Cummings) has survived being dumped and is getting closer to Gary ( Sean Keenan). She and Sue ( Brenna Harding) have found coolness in the Greenhills gang, but will taking up the surf boards change that? With the added bonus of the song “I’ve Never Been To Me” backgrounding a scene, nostalgics can’t wait for the series soundtrack.
