TRAITOR

Samir Horn ( Don Cheadle) is a former US Army explosives expert, a devout Muslim, mercenary and suspected terrorist. Hunting him is Roy Clayton ( Guy Pearce), a gun-barrel straight FBI man. This is a solid, post 9/11 thriller about which too much should not be given away, but there are two other surprises: (1) Steve Martin gets a “story by” credit; and ( 2) Traitor is directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff, who will always have to live with the fact he wrote The Day After Tomorrow. Political intrigue.
