Thursday 4pm, Drama/romance (PG) ★★★
A fictionalised account of the late-inlife love affair between British author and scholar C.S. Lewis and American poet Joy Gresham is handled with typical sensitivity by director Richard Attenborough and features exceptional performances from Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger. She, in fact, was nominated for an Oscar although he, surprisingly, was overlooked – but he did pick up an acting BAFTA. Beautiful.
