COLDITZ – THE LEGEND Monday 8.30pm, History
Colditz Castle sits on a cliff overlooking a small town in Saxony, Germany. During WWII, the castle became a prisoner-ofwar camp for high-ranking Allied officers who had escaped from other camps. The remote, hard-to-access location of Colditz supposedly meant that no one imprisoned there would get out, yet several prisoners found a way to escape. Colditz survivors and their families tell their remarkable stories.
