The two shows seem cut from the same cloth. Sacha Hor­ler (left) stars as the brash Vic­to­ria ‘Sando’ San­dring­ham who runs dis­count fur­ni­ture chain Sando’s Ware­house. Sando’s world un­rav­els when it is dis­cov­ered that she is preg­nant to her daugh­ter Susie’s (Krew Boy­lan) fi­ancé Kevin (Fi­rass Di­rani). Cue wed­ding may­hem.

Later Sando is dumped from her own com­pany by CFO Tony (Rob Carl­ton) af­ter too many drunken ben­ders. But Sando has a plan – to fake a med­i­cal emergency – to get back to­gether with ex-hus­band Don (Phil Lloyd) and the rest of her es­tranged fam­ily.

isn’t so­phis­ti­cated – the dick jokes ar­rive pretty early – but it is great fun and Hor­ler is out­stand­ing in the cen­tral role. The cheap-and-nasty mock Sando’s Ware­house ads are a hoot. Next week’s sec­ond episode main­tains the qual­ity. If you liked you’ll want to check this out.
