WARNING: if most fashion vloggers make you want to put your foot through the screen, or wring their infantile, intensely obnoxious little necks, then the host of this docu-series, Kyle Ng is likely to see you break out in the aforementioned fits of rage.

If you can put his affected manner aside, this is actually quite informative TV, in a vastly more annoying style of David Chang’s food odyssey,

In the first episode, on jeans, Ng travels to Japan where style ‘experts’ argue the best denim is hand-dipped and yarn-dyed by craftsmen in a town called Kojima. The 18-ounce wonders have a distinctive indigo colour and textured look you’ll recognise, which is created by the shaking shuttle looms; and sell for 80,000 yen, or close to $1000. At that price, they better iron themselves.
