DRAMA SPILLS I NTO REAL LIFE

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - TV Guide - - Don't Miss This Week -

YOU’VE got to give points to for timeliness given tonight’s storyline about a new PM, who claimed the job after a Liberal Party leadership spill. But I do have to wonder whether this final season is stretching things – a bit like when went on too long.

As per usual, barrister-turned-Senator Cleaver Greene’s (Richard Roxburgh) life is a mess. He has been hit by a defamation suit by rival Senator Penny Evans ( Jane Turner, pictured with Roxburgh, channeling Pauline Hanson in this latest role).

Two British tourists have just arrived at his parliamentary lodgings, which he’s illegally sub-letting out, AirBnB-style. Then Missy (his former lover and now the doting mother of Cleaver’s first grandchild) has just turned up with baby Winsome, to assume a role as his new wholly unqualified press secretary.
