THERE’S absolutely no doubt Jane Fonda (pictured) has packed plenty into her 80 years on this planet. An acclaimed actor, controversial activist and devoted daughter of screen icon, Henry, as well as a wife three times over – she’s played plenty of roles in that time.

But if you think you know this superstar, think again, as this fascinating four-part docu-drama illustrates. Drawing on 21 hours of interviews – filmed over two years – it’s an honest, vulnerable and reflective Fonda we meet in this small screen special.

The brash anti-Vietnam protestor now has her regrets, as she admitted on her recent promotional tour of Australia. She also managed to flirt up a storm with Tommy Little while here, showing there’s still plenty of life left in this stellar woman yet. A sequel perhaps?
