NO ROOM TO MAKE JOKES

All Stars, all five teams manage to present memorable rooms. But there are tears and tantrums when host Scott Cam unveils the judges’ scores. For one team, narrowly missing out on claiming the whopping $20,000 prize leads them to cry foul: accusing the show of being rigged to favour some teams over others. I mean, hello? This is reality TV people! Of course it’s manipulated to create drama,

otherwise we’d all just set up deck chairs outside any old building site to watch a renovation in action! The drama doesn’t end there, and for once, the fireworks don’t involve smarty pants Jesse or expletive-prone Tess. Instead, it’s the usually fun-loving Mitch and Mark (pictured) and amiable Scott Cam who go toe-to-toe while everyone looks on agog. It’s no secret that Mitch and Mark are getting fed up with the jibes about their entertainment lounge being a party room. During the week, Mark has even gone so far as to suggest that some of the commentary is bordering on homophobia. So, when Cam makes a light-hearted joke about concerns over the noise levels from the parties at House 1, the boys fail to see the funny side. Soon, a war of words erupts that leaves Cam fuming and the boys upset. I suspect this won’t be the end of the story.
