UP FOR THE FIGHT

The Sunday Telegraph (Sydney) - - RACING -

“HE’S not a big horse, he’s lean, mean, a bit of a fighting machine.”

That was stable representative Keira Dunn’s apt description of Quatronic after his tough all-the-way win in the Listed $150,000 Ortensia Stakes (1100m) at Scone yesterday.

“He has always shown us good work at home but he has been underrated,’’ she said of Quatronic, trained by her husband Matthew Dunn. Kathy O’Hara rated Quatronic ($10) beautifully and the bush sprinter comfortably held his rivals to win by a half-length from Deploy ($5.50) with Dothraki ($7.50) a length away.
