Laura- Leigh goes for New York loft

FOR­MER Voice con­tes­tant turned We Love Jam Stu­dios pro­ducer Laura-Leigh Smith (in­set) has spent $680,000 on her first Syd­ney apart­ment, which ich has be­come a $750 a week ren­tal.

She snapped up the two bed­room apart­ment within two days of it hit­ting the mar­ket. Mor­ton Wool­loomooloo agent Noel Jenk­ins mar­keted the apart­ment as a unique New York loft style apart­ment.

The re­con­fig­ured 49sqm apart­ment in a ware­house con­ver­sion last traded for $420,000 in 2010. Smith ap­peared on the pop­u­lar tal­ent show in 2014 singing Christina Aguil­era’s Re­flec­tion from the Dis­ney film Mu­lan. Joel Mad­den was the only judge to turn around.
