Socceroo kicks a goal in in­ner west

THEY are kick­ing goals in the record set­ting in­ner west. For­mer Socceroo Ja­son Culina (in­set) and wife Terri have sold their re­vamped Put­neyney home for a tidy profit again. They wanted $3.2 mil­lion and se­cured $3.48 mil­lion. The home cost $1.77 mil­lion three years ago.

The cou­ple aren’t head­ing far, hav­ing paid $2.9 mil­lion for a nearby farm­house.

Records fell yes­ter­day in Strath­field, with the lat­est $8.8 mil­lion sale by San­ity boss Ray Itaoui and wife Rachel.

Their Frank Lloyd-Wright in­spired man­sion that cost them $5 mil­lion in 2010 sold through Ge­orges El­lis & Co agent Joseph Ge­orges. The sub­urb record has been set four times in the past year.
