Designer Alice McCall, loves a playful, flirty silhouette. Despite her busy work schedule, the energetic mother to daughters Wild Rose and Hopi Silver Moon always looks cool and comfortable.

Since launching the label in 2004 at fashion week her eponymous brand has gone from strength to strength and this year she will open five new boutiques.

The trick to pulling off McCall’s free-spirited style is to stock up on bright prints, delicate frills and edgy leather accessories.

What style advice did your mother give you?

“My mother has always been an inspiration to me. It wasn’t so much the advice that she gave me, but more so her unique free-spirited attitude towards fashion.

“This resonated with me growing up and has taught me to develop my own personal style and identity through clothes.”

What will you tell daughters Wild Rose and Hopi Silver Moon?

“I had a dressing box growing up and now my daughters have one full of my old keepsakes. The advice I would pass on to them would be to use clothes as a creative form of expression and to have fun with the process of getting dressed.”
